Day 66: Treeless in Wyoming

We did over 500 miles today through Montana, a large corner of Wyoming (my home state), and into South Dakota. We saw many interesting sights, but very few trees.

Much of the rock here is red, such as the ones across from the rest stop just into South Dakota going east on I90. Even large sections of the highway are red, where it was paved with local gravel.
