We’ve stayed at several state parks, and they have always been great. You usually get electric and water, with a dump station somewhere near the entrance/exit. Rates are lower than commercial parks and the spots are further apart. Add in great scenery, low noise, and what’s not to love?
This is us at a state park in northern Mississippi. I hear this place is jammed full nine months a year, but right now it’s at less than 5% of capacity.
