When we were told about the Loveless Cafe we decided we had to try it.
It started sixty years ago as a place for weary travelers on State Route 100 to get a simple meal – on the Loveless’ front porch. Over the years, it’s become a Nashville tradition known for its country ham and biscuits many say are the best in the world – and Lori agrees! The home made preserves were also awesome – especially the boysenberry.
We also had our first meal at a famous Dave’s BBQ. It’s not a Nashville original, but it fits right in. Four of us got a meal for 4-6 served on a trash can lid. We all ate well and Lori and I did the leftovers the next night.

Hey Paul & Lori! Coming straight from our own farm-raised cows… we pick up the fresh beef tomorrow. So you guys will get to have some fresh steak-n-eggs when you get here. It just doesn’t get much better than that! Hope you’re enjoying safety (and each other) as you travel the open roads. See you in a couple of weeks!
